Bullet and Bike Collide: 5 Bodies Arrive Together, Heartbreaking Cries as Tears Flow Nonstop
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A tragic accident occurred on Jagner Road when a bullet bike and a regular bike collided head-on, resulting in the deaths of five people. The incident took place on Saturday night near Gaharraklaan on the Agra-Jagner road. The victims, four of whom were labourers from the Saiya area, were returning from a wedding in Garhmukhha when the crash occurred. One of the two youths riding the bullet died at the scene, while the other is critically injured. The bodies were taken to SN Medical College, and chaos broke out when the relatives of the deceased arrived.
As the bodies reached the emergency department, the scene was filled with grief and mourning. The family members were devastated, with Bhagwan Das's wife crying uncontrollably, lamenting that she had bought the bangles only the day before. Lalita, the wife of a lawyer, also cried out in sorrow. Villagers shared that all four deceased men were cousins from poor families. The victims were identified as Bhagwan Das (35), Vakil (30), Ramswaroop (28), and Sonu (25), all from Saiya. They had gone to the wedding in Garhmukhha on their bike when they collided with the bullet, which was being ridden by Karan and Kanhaiya from Gaharraklaan. The collision occurred near Gaharraklaan Pyaau at around 10:30 pm. Karan died instantly, and Kanhaiya was severely injured.
Passersby who witnessed the crash called the police, and both Saiya and Kagaraul police forces arrived at the scene. ACP Devesh Kumar confirmed that five people had died at the scene, and Kanhaiya, an intermediate student, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The deceased men worked as hawkers, and their families arrived at SN Emergency later that night. The emotional scenes at the hospital were heartbreaking, with the wives and children of the deceased overcome with grief.
Among those mourning were Bhagwan Das's wife, Lalita, and their two children, Ramswaroop's wife Swati with their three children, and Sonu’s mother and Kusum, the lawyer’s wife. The families were devastated, as the men had all been the primary breadwinners. The villagers, visibly upset, demanded justice and called for the authorities to take action regarding the bullet that caused the accident. They also petitioned for compensation of Rs. 10 lakh for each family, given that all the victims had young children and lived in rented homes. The situation at SN Emergency grew tense as relatives and villagers protested, with shouting and crying continuing into the late hours of the night.
