Shocking! Another Stabbing Incident in Delhi, 2 Youths Killed in Broad Daylight

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Sensation spread in the Nabi Karim police station area of the national capital Delhi on Saturday afternoon when two youths were brutally murdered by stabbing them with knives. There is an atmosphere of terror in the area due to this double murder that took place in broad daylight. As soon as the information was received, the local police and top officials reached the spot and started the investigation.

The incident took place at around 2 pm on Saturday in the densely populated Chinot Basti of Nabi Karim area. According to the information, the deceased youths were present in the basti when an unknown attacker or attackers attacked them with knives. After the attack, the accused fled from the spot. The people nearby immediately informed the police and the bleeding youths were taken to a nearby hospital. However, on reaching the hospital, the doctors declared both of them dead.

Police have identified the deceased as 33-year-old Ankit and 32-year-old Rahul. Ankit used to do welding work, while Rahul is said to be a history-sheeter (Bad Character – BC) of Nabi Karim police station. Initial investigation by the police and interrogation of local people has revealed that before the murder, there was a fight between some people over something. It is suspected that this murder has been committed due to mutual enmity, especially the matter of old enmity between the deceased Ankit and the suspected accused is coming to the fore.

The police have taken both the bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem and have registered a case of murder. Police officials say that the suspected accused has almost been identified and several teams have been formed to arrest him. The police is scanning the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the crime scene to get clues about the accused and connect the sequence of events.

After this incident, there is an atmosphere of fear and tension in Chinot Basti and the surrounding areas. The relatives of the deceased are crying inconsolably and are demanding strict action against the accused. It is worth noting that today itself, an incident of firing was reported in Delhi's Mayur Vihar area during the day, after which this double murder has raised serious questions on the law and order of the capital. The police claim that the accused will be arrested soon.
