A viral document making rounds has caused outcry and misinformation saying the retirement age will be increased to 62 years old from April 1, 2025. The government has dismissed these claims, stating no such decision has been made.
The Press Information Bureau's fact-checking unit addressed the issue through a statement on X (formerly Twitter). It confirmed that the notice circulating around is fake.
