Haryana: Four Gunmen Shoot Young Man in Broad Daylight in Pundri, Escape Near Police Station
Kaithal (The Uttam Hindu): In Kaithal district's Pundri, Haryana on Wednesday morning, four criminals in a car fired indiscriminately at a young man. After shooting him four times, the attackers pursued him up to the police station but fled upon seeing it.
According to reports, the victim Sachin was heading to play cricket around 11 a.m. when he was surrounded by the attackers in a car. Two of the assailants had illegal pistols with which they shot Sachin. The severely injured Sachin was immediately admitted to a nearby hospital. According to doctors, his condition is critical. This incident has created an atmosphere of fear in the entire area.
The Pundri police station in-charge stated that an investigation into the case has begun. Efforts are underway to identify the culprits using CCTV footage and other evidence. He assured that all accused would be arrested soon. Local residents have strongly condemned the incident, demanding strict action from the administration. They have also expressed deep concern over the increasing use of illegal weapons in the area.
