Russian Dancer's Passport Seized After Refusing Obscene Performance
Gwalior(The Uttam Hindu): A Russian woman ended up in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, on a job offer, which led the authorities here to help her retrieve her passport.
City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Hina Khan said that a man from Delhi had brought the 35-year-old woman to Gwalior around three weeks ago by claiming that he had managed her job. When she refused, the man returned to Delhi along with her passport.
With the help of a local resident, the woman approached the police and had also brought out her concerns through a translator with the help of CSP Khan.
According to the official, the police traced the man in Delhi and retrieved her passport. The woman, who has a valid visa for India, did not like to continue the legal proceedings, Khan said, and the police are allowing her to go back to her friend in Delhi.
