3-Year-Old Child Falls into 700-Foot Borewell in Kotputli, Rajasthan; Rescue Underway
Kotputli-Behror, Rajasthan (The Uttam Hindu): In a shocking incident in Kotputli, Rajasthan, a 3-year-old girl fell into a 700-foot deep borewell around 2 PM. The girl, who was playing outside her home, reportedly slipped and fell into the open borewell. Initially, she got stuck at a depth of 15 feet, but later slipped further down. As soon as locals became aware of the incident, they immediately informed the police.
The girl was playing near the borewell when her foot slipped, causing her to fall. It was reported that a plastic pipe had been removed from the borewell just two days prior, leaving the borewell uncovered. The girl's cries were heard from inside the borewell.
A rescue operation was quickly launched. It is believed that there is a stone at a depth of 150 feet inside the borewell, making it narrower in that section. The possibility of the girl being stuck above this stone is being considered. A JCB machine is working on digging, and oxygen is being supplied to the girl through a pipe to ensure her safety during the rescue.
