Explosion Rocks Amritsar’s Islamabad Police Station, Gangster Jeevan Fauji Takes Responsibility

Amritsar (The Uttam Hindu): A blast took place at Islamabad police station in Amritsar, Punjab at 3.15 am today. After this, the police closed the gates of the police station. This is not the first case of blast in Amritsar police stations, blasts have taken place before this as well. However, ACP Jaspal Singh said, 'There has been no blast. A sound has been heard, it is being investigated. Senior officers have arrived at the spot.'

Explosion near Islamabad Police Station in Amritsar: Recently, central agencies had shared a report with Punjab Police. In which it was said that a conspiracy is being hatched to carry out terrorist attacks on police stations in Punjab. Punjab Police was also asked to remain alert. Babbar Khalsa Group gangster Jeevan Fauji has taken responsibility for this blast. Local people say that the explosion took place at around 3 o'clock. The explosion was so strong that even the picture on the wall inside the house fell down.

Let us tell you that earlier on 4 December, there was an explosion in Majitha police station in Amritsar. Due to this, the glass panes of the windows of the police station were broken. Then it was revealed that a hand grenade was thrown in the police station. However, no police officer confirmed this. On this, the DSP of Majitha said that the tire of a police employee's bike burst. Then there was a loud explosion. Khalistani terrorist Happy Pasiyan had taken the responsibility of this explosion. He had written on social media that such actions will continue.

On November 28, a blast took place in Gurbakhsh Nagar, the old police outpost of Amritsar Police. Here too, it was reported that a hand grenade was thrown. The responsibility for this was also taken through a Facebook post. According to sources associated with the forensic team of Punjab Police, many suspicious things were found at the said place. However, the police did not issue any official statement regarding this either.
