Sukhwinder, affectionately known as Sukha, was the sole breadwinner for his family and the only brother to two sisters. He had been living in California for the past two years, working as a truck driver to support his loved ones back home.

On December 3, 2024, Sukhwinder suffered a heart attack while in the U.S. His friends quickly rushed him to the hospital; however, he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The news of his untimely death has left his family devastated. Sukhwinder was married and is survived by a son and a daughter, further deepening the family's grief during this difficult time.

In light of their loss, Sukhwinder's family is seeking assistance from the Indian government to facilitate the return of his body to India for cremation. They wish to perform his last rites in their native village of Nawan Pind Khaleval.
