Young Woman Arrives at Hotel with Lover, Police Rushes in after Shocking Discovery

Gurugram (The Uttam Hindu): Gurugram: Crime rates in Haryana are on the rise, with incidents of murder and suicide emerging regularly. A tragic incident has come to light in Gurugram, where the bodies of a young man and a woman were discovered on a bed in a hotel, causing a stir. Both victims had suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest. Upon receiving the report, Manesar police arrived at the hotel and recovered both bodies, along with a pistol found at the scene.

The woman has been identified as Komal (20), a resident of Shikohpur, while the man has been identified as Nikhil (23), from village Lokri in Pataudi. The two had checked into the hotel on Monday. The situation took a shocking turn when the police discovered their bodies. Komal’s family reported her missing after she failed to return home on the night of February 24. A missing person report was filed, and upon tracking her location, it was traced to Haveli Hotel on National Highway 48 in Manesar. The family hurried to the hotel, but the door was locked from the inside. They alerted the hotel staff and the police, and upon opening the door, both the family and authorities were left in shock.

The bodies were subsequently brought to the government hospital in Sector 10, where doctors confirmed their deaths.

Manesar police station in-charge stated that Nikhil had arrived at the hotel by bike. Two fruit beers and a water bottle were found in the room. Initial investigations suggest that the two victims were from different castes. Nikhil had completed an ITI and was working as an apprentice in a company. His sister had married in Komal's village, Shikohpur, in 2021, and Nikhil frequently visited the village, during which he and Komal became close. The police are currently investigating the case.
