'Insta Queen' Raveena Strangles Husband with Dupatta, Dumps Body with Lover

Rewari (The Uttam Hindu): Rewari – In a shocking case from Haryana, an Instagram reel-maker with a sizable online following has been arrested along with her lover for allegedly murdering her husband and disposing of the body.

The accused, 32-year-old Raveena from Rewari, who has over 30,000 followers on Instagram, had been in a relationship with Suresh, a YouTuber from Premnagar, Hansi. Her husband, Praveen (35), caught the two in a compromising position at their home on March 25, which led to a heated altercation. During the fight, Raveena and Suresh allegedly strangled Praveen using a dupatta.

Later that night, around 2:30 AM, the duo was caught on CCTV leaving the house with the body. Suresh was seen wearing a helmet while Raveena had her face covered. They returned about two hours later—without the body. Investigations revealed they had dumped Praveen’s body in a drain around 6 km away on Dinnaud Road.

The decomposed body was recovered on March 28. Raveena reportedly showed no signs of guilt and initially misled the family when asked about her husband’s whereabouts. During questioning, both she and Suresh confessed to the murder and shared details about their relationship, which began through Instagram content collaborations lasting over a year and a half.

Family members and Praveen had earlier raised objections to Raveena’s social media activity, leading to several arguments at home. Police are now piecing together all evidence, including CCTV footage, to solidify the case.
