Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu Reviews Progress on Halwara International Airport

Ludhiana (The Uttam Hindu): Ravneet Singh, Union Minister of State for Railways and Food Processing Industries, chaired a high-level review meeting on the development of Halwara International Airport near Ludhiana. The meeting was attended by key stakeholders, including representatives from the Indian Air Force, Airports Authority of India (AAI), and the Punjab state government. 

During the meeting, Ravneet Singh emphasized the importance of completing all pending works related to the Air Force, AAI, and the state government on a priority basis. He stated that the Halwara International Airport project is pivotal for the region’s growth and will significantly boost tourism and cargo operations in the aviation sector.
