UGC NET Exam Postponed: Originally Scheduled for Tomorrow, New Date to Be Announced Soon

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu):The UGC-NET December 2024 exam, which was scheduled to be held on January 15, 2025, has now been postponed. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced the postponement of this exam and the new dates for it will be announced later. However, the exam to be held on January 16 will be conducted as per the scheduled schedule.

However, NTA has not given any information about this new date at the moment. They have only told that the new date of UGC NET exam will be announced soon, and it will be announced on the official website. Along with this, admit cards based on the new date will also be issued separately.

The NTA has informed that it had received several recommendations appealing to postpone the UGC NET exam scheduled to be held on January 15, 2025 in view of Pongal, Makar Sankranti and other festivals. Taking a decision in the interest of the students, the agency has decided to postpone the UGC NET December 2024 exam scheduled on January 15, 2025. However, the exam to be held on January 16, 2025 will be conducted as per the earlier scheduled date.
