Tragedy in the Skies: Single-Engine Plane Crashes, All Onboard Killed

Trilla (The Uttam Hindu): A single-engine plane crashed in the Trilla area of ​​central Illinois, killing all four people on board. According to Coles County Coroner Ed Schneers, the deceased include two women and two men. At present, the identities of the deceased have not been made public. Officials said that their names will be released only after the family members are informed.

The accident occurred just after 10 a.m. Saturday when the Cessna C180G aircraft collided with power lines and crashed into an open field near Trilla, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) said in an email.

Expressing grief over the incident, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker said on social media, "Terrible news has come from Coles County. My administration is monitoring the situation and we express our condolences to all those affected by the accident."
