Tenants to Enjoy Free Electricity and Water: Arvind Kejriwal's Major Announcement

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal has announced a big relief for the tenants of Delhi. He said that if his party forms the government again, then lakhs of tenants of the capital will also be given free electricity and water facilities.

In the press conference, Kejriwal said, we will create such a system that even the tenants living in Delhi can avail the benefit of free electricity and water. He also said that a large number of people from Purvanchal live on rent in the capital and in many houses, up to one hundred tenants live, who are living in extreme poverty.

He further said, I am roaming in different areas of Delhi. People are telling me that they are getting the benefit of facilities like Mohalla Clinic, school and hospital, but not free electricity and water. This situation needs to change. This announcement of Arvind Kejriwal is being considered important in view of the upcoming elections, because it promises to provide direct relief to the tenant class, which is a large population of Delhi.
