Saif Ali Khan Attack Case: Accused Spotted Near Bandra Station, Massive Police Hunt Underway

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): Mumbai Police is rapidly investigating the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan's house. Police have identified the attacker on the basis of CCTV footage and now 35 teams have been formed to search for him.

According to police sources, the attacker was seen around Bandra railway station after the incident. Since then, police teams are searching for him in Vasai, Nalasopara and surrounding areas of Palghar district. 15 crime branch teams of Mumbai Police and 20 local police teams are trying to catch the attacker.

During the investigation, the police also found an old sword from Saif Ali Khan's house. According to sources, this sword appears to be ancestral and may possibly belong to Saif's family, although the police have not yet received any concrete information about this.

The police are also using their network of informers and technical support to nab the attacker as soon as possible. In the CCTV footage, the attacker is seen running with a wooden stick and a long hexa blade. His face is clearly visible in the footage. He is wearing a brown collared T-shirt and a red gamchha. Police officials believe that the attacker changed his clothes before fleeing from Saif's house.

On Thursday, the police also questioned Jeh's (Saif's son) nanny. According to the information, the attacker had held the nanny hostage and demanded Rs 1 crore. The police have recorded the statements of all the employees working in the house, the building guards and others.
