At least 25 people on board the boat died due to this. At the same time, many people are reported to be missing. Officials and local residents gave this information. It is being told that this boat had left from Inongo city, north-east of Congo's capital Kinshasa. According to information, more than 100 passengers were on board this boat.

This accident happened in the Fimi river. It is feared that this accident happened due to the large number of passengers in the boat. Relief and rescue teams and divers have been deployed on the spot. The search operation for the missing people was started on Tuesday. According to the officials, the death toll in this incident is feared to increase.

Inongo's 'River Commissioner' David Kalemba said, "There were more passengers in the boat than its capacity. That is why the boat is feared to have sunk. So far at least 25 bodies have been recovered. Other missing people are being searched. He said that according to Alex Mbumba, a resident of the area, there was a lot of luggage in the boat. Mbumba said, "Children are also included among the dead, but at this time it is difficult to tell the exact number of dead because there were many passengers in the boat."
