Happy Pasiya's Sinister Path: From Child Exploitation to Terrorism

Amritsar (The Uttam Hindu) : Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist Harpreet Singh alias Happy Pasia, who was arrested in America, used to make children commit robbery before becoming a terrorist. The name of Happy Pasiyan, a tenth pass student from the village of Pasiya in Amritsar district, first came to light when he got school children to rob a tractor warehouse. A case was also registered against him in this matter. After this, he joined the gang of gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria and started demanding extortion money from people by threatening them. After reaching America illegally from India, he joined BKI there and also started working for terrorist Harvinder Singh Rinda while living in Pakistan.

For terrorist Rinda, he started carrying out terrorist activities by luring minors and youth trapped in the quagmire of drugs in Punjab, as well as youth from poor families who wanted to go abroad. According to the police dossier, 33 FIRs have been registered against him in various police stations and ten Look Out Circulars (LOC) have been issued against him, besides a Blue Corner Notice was issued on January 17, 2025 and the process of issuing a Red Corner Notice is underway. According to the police dossier, Happy Pasian, along with BKI terrorist Rinda, carried out extortion and terrorist activities in Punjab. Pasian used to lure poor, drug-addicted people with money, drugs and sending them abroad and then used them to carry out terrorist activities. Other terrorists living in America, Gurdev Singh alias Jassal Pehalwan, Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi Vanshaharia and Swarn Singh alias Jeevan Fauji living in Germany also helped him in this work.

Since the IED did not explode, he did not give money to both of them and later gave them another target by threatening to kill them. For this, he had promised to provide them drugs instead of money.
