Noida Horror: Play School Director Caught Spying on Female Teacher with Hidden Camera in Restroom

Update: 2024-12-18 04:09 GMT

Noida (The Uttam Hindu): In a shocking incident from Noida's Phase 3 area, a female teacher at a play school has accused the school director of spying on her using a hidden camera in the restroom. The matter came to light after the teacher filed a complaint with the police, leading to the immediate arrest of the school director.

According to the teacher's complaint, on December 10, when she went to the restroom, she noticed something suspicious in the bulb holder. Upon inspection, she discovered a spy camera hidden inside. The teacher informed the school director, Navneesh Sahay, about the camera, but allegedly, no action was taken, nor did she receive any response from him. Following this, the teacher approached the police and shared the information. Police arrived at the scene, conducted an investigation, and confirmed that a spy camera had indeed been installed in the restroom. The complainant revealed that when she spoke to the security guard, he informed her that the director had installed the camera. She further claimed that this was not the first time she had found a hidden camera in the restroom; previously, she had discovered one but had handed it over to the director.

The school, which had been opened in April 2024 in a rented building, is now under scrutiny. During the investigation, police arrested the accused director, Navneesh Sahay. In his interrogation, Sahay confessed to purchasing the hidden camera online for ₹2,200 and explained that he did not record videos but would occasionally watch the live feed. Sahay had concealed the camera inside the bulb holder in the restroom to ensure it would not be noticed. The police have registered a case against him, and further investigation is ongoing. This incident raises serious concerns not only about the school's environment but also about the safety of children. The police are examining all aspects of the case.
