The operation, headed by Dinesh Mishra, focused on places like Bada Ganpati and Rajwada. However, during the raid, the woman was found begging on the street near Shani Temple. A search also revealed a mix of denominations, including ₹100, ₹50, ₹20, ₹10, ₹200, and ₹500. In all, the woman had 423 notes of ₹100 denomination and 174 notes of ₹50 denomination and smaller denominations amounting to ₹74,768.

She reportedly begged around Shani Temple, Jain Temple, and nearby areas. She has been rescued and sent to Sevadham Ashram in Ujjain for further care and questioning. As a part of a comprehensive campaign being undertaken by Collector Asheesh Singh, the Women and Child Development Department is going all out on a mission to root out begging from across the city. Further investigations are underway, with an emphasis on the background of the woman and organized begging networks.
