Hijack Horror: Video Footage of BLA's Deadly Train Takeover in Pakistan Emerges

Islamabad (The Uttam Hindu): In a shocking incident in Pakistan's restive Balochistan province, a purported video has emerged showing a passenger train hijacking. The video was released on Wednesday in the name of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), although the organisation has not yet officially confirmed it. The video footage, which is circulating online, shows a train passing through the mountains. Suddenly there is an explosion, followed by black smoke billowing out of the train engine. After this, the video allegedly shows the fighters inside the train, where they appear to be holding passengers hostage.

The video has surfaced at a time when separatist activities are on the rise in Balochistan, and organisations like the BLA have been carrying out attacks on Pakistani security forces. So far, no official statement has been issued on the video by Pakistani authorities or the Baloch Liberation Army.
