Government in Action After Pahalgam Attack: High Level Meeting at PM Modi's Residence
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The government is on alert after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. 26 people died in this attack and many people were injured. There is anger in the whole country about this attack. Meanwhile, the CCS meeting is going on at the Prime Minister's residence. Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar, Ajit Doval etc. are present in the meeting.
The Resistance Front (TRF), the hit squad of Lashkar-e-Taiba, which has become a new synonym of terror in Kashmir, has taken responsibility for the attack. Regarding the terrorist incident, Amit Shah said that those involved in this heinous terrorist attack will not be spared and we will take strict action against the criminals and give them the harshest punishment. Home Minister Amit Shah has reached Srinagar a short while ago. The Home Minister held a security review meeting with all the agencies.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said that terrorists carried out a cowardly act by targeting a particular religion in Pahalgam. In which many innocent people lost their lives. I want to assure the countrymen that the government will take every necessary step. We will not only reach the culprits of this act, but will also reach the people behind the scenes. I want to assure the country that the accused will soon get a befitting reply.
