Prayagraj (The Uttam Hindu): The world’s largest religious gathering, the Maha Kumbh, has officially begun in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Among the many faces at this grand event, IITian Baba Abhay Singh, popularly known as "Engineer Baba," has been drawing significant attention.

Engineer Baba Abhay Singh claims to have graduated in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Bombay. After completing his studies, he secured a high-paying job at a major company. However, he chose to renounce worldly attachments and embrace the spiritual path. Abhay Singh shared that he was working in Canada with a monthly salary of three lakh rupees, which later increased. Despite his growing salary, he decided to leave his job and return to India.

He added, “After completing my education at IIT Mumbai and taking a course in fashion design, I had the option of settling down with a good job and a stable life. Yet, something felt incomplete.” Abhay Singh mentioned that he completed his schooling in Haryana before entering a prestigious institution like IIT. Initially, he believed that becoming an aeronautical engineer would be the ultimate achievement, but he later realized that the science he had studied was not the ultimate truth. He now believes that the spiritual knowledge he is acquiring is the real science. Abhay Singh revealed that his family fully supports his decision. His father is a lawyer, and he has a sister who lives in Canada. Breaking away from the societal norms was challenging, but now he has distanced himself from his family, choosing not to visit them anymore.
