Big News: Vinod Kambli's Health Worsens, Admitted to Hospital
New Delhi(The Uttam Hindu): Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli has been admitted to the hospital after his health reportedly worsened suddenly. Doctors are currently attending to him as his condition remains under close observation. Kambli, who has been facing health issues for the past few days, was hospitalized at Akruti Hospital in Thane. His hospitalization follows concerns raised after a recent viral video, where he was seen with cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, looking visibly unwell. This led to growing concern over his health.
A fan shared a video on social media showing Kambli in the hospital, further fueling worries about his condition. Media reports indicate that all necessary tests are being conducted, and his health remains critical. In a recent interview on a YouTube channel, Kambli revealed that he has been battling a severe urinary infection, which caused him to faint last month, resulting in the viral video. His declining health has also been attributed to his long-standing battle with alcohol addiction.
In response to Kambli's deteriorating health, former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev, along with his 1983 World Cup teammates, offered to help him with rehabilitation. The 52-year-old Kambli accepted the offer and expressed his gratitude for the support.
