His words reminded the youth that no dream is too big, regardless of one's background or where they come from. Addressing students preparing for India's most challenging competitive exams at ALLEN Career Institute’s nationwide summit, 'Sangam,' Dhoni shared his personal journey from the small town of Ranchi to becoming the captain of the Indian cricket team. Dhoni, now 42, emphasized that success is not determined by your pin code. "Small-town dreams can conquer the world. If a boy from Ranchi can do it, then with the right guidance, dedication and mindset, anyone can," he said, encouraging students to aim high and not let their origins limit their potential.

During the event, Dhoni was also asked about how he deals with pressure. He focused on the importance of preparation, saying, “Focus on the preparation that happens behind the scenes; this is what leads to composure on the big stage and the results that follow. Live in the present and enjoy every moment—I never thought about playing for India; I only focused on giving my best in every match I played while growing up.”
