From Stardom to Scandal: Wife Accuses Famous Punjabi Singer of Abuse and Threats

Jalandhar(The Uttam Hindu): Punjabi singer Raj Jujhar is facing serious allegations from his wife, Preeti Rai, a Canadian citizen. In a press conference held in Jalandhar, Preeti accused Jujhar of harassing her for years and claimed that he recently denied knowing her. Preeti revealed that they were married in 2007 in a simple ceremony at a Gurudwara in India. However, she stated that Jujhar created a scene during the wedding, halting the ceremony and promising to resume it later.

Preeti addressed questions from social media users who accused her of speaking out after many years, stating that she is doing so for the sake of their 11-year-old son. She added that she has all the necessary documents to back her claims. According to Preeti, she had already given Jujhar one crore rupees, and all of her jewelry is in his possession. She has been raising their son alone for the past 11 years.

A few years ago, Jujhar reportedly moved to Canada and expressed his desire to live with Preeti, but only under the condition that he would also support another family’s expenses. Preeti’s family had urged her to give him another chance, but she claimed she had been betrayed. Preeti further accused Jujhar of threatening her life and claimed that when she asked for money, he denied knowing her. She also revealed that she had attempted suicide in the past, but for the sake of her son, she is now determined to fight back.
