Dense Fog to Blanket North India; Southern Regions Bracing for Rain and Thunderstorms
Chandigarh(The Uttam Hindu): The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast for dense fog in parts of North India as winter sets in. Isolated areas of Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh are expected to experience thick fog during the early mornings of November 28 and 30. Similarly, Himachal Pradesh is likely to face dense fog between November 27 and 29, while Uttar Pradesh may encounter similar conditions from November 28 to 30.
Meanwhile, the southern and coastal regions of India are predicted to experience heavy rains and thunderstorms. The weather pattern highlights the contrast between the northern region’s foggy conditions and the wetter, more turbulent weather expected in the southern and coastal areas. These varying weather conditions are part of the seasonal transition as winter takes hold in the north.
