Snowfall at Baba Kedarnath’s Doorstep
On the sacred land of Kedarnath, nature's extraordinary beauty is on display as snow falls gently. Amid the snowfall, nature has gracefully adorned Baba Kedarnath. The sight of the Kedarnath hills and temple, wrapped in a blanket of white snow, has become an awe-inspiring attraction.
The view of Kedarnath's hills and temple, enveloped in a pristine white blanket of snow, is simply mesmerizing. The snowfall not only enhances the spiritual atmosphere of this revered site but also offers an unforgettable experience for visitors. For the past two days, the mountains have been experiencing continuous snowfall and rain. The temperature has further dropped due to ongoing snow in the higher Himalayan regions. In Kedarnath Dham, Lord Nandi has been covered with a blanket of snow, and even the Nandi statue outside the temple is completely snow-covered. More than two and a half feet of snow has accumulated in the area, intensifying the cold. As a result, workers involved in reconstruction efforts are returning to Sonprayag. The weather has been harsh in the mountains since Friday, with continuous snowfall in higher regions and persistent rain in lower areas. The rain has further amplified the cold.
