New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A doctor at a private hospital in Patna, Bihar, is under investigation after allegedly using YouTube videos to treat a patient, leading to the patient's death. The young man, from Bhojpur, had been admitted to the nursing home after experiencing vomiting. His family claims that instead of following medical protocols, the doctor relied on online videos for treatment, which caused the patient’s condition to worsen. The man, who had recently been selected for the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), passed away as a result.

The death sparked protests from the family, who demanded strict action against the hospital staff and doctors. As tensions grew, hospital personnel fled the scene, leaving the situation unresolved. The hospital has refused to comment on the incident. Police were called to manage the unrest and have taken the body for postmortem. Authorities have confirmed a detailed investigation is underway, and the hospital administration is being questioned.

The cause of death and the potential for medical negligence will be determined once the postmortem report is available. This incident has raised concerns over medical ethics and accountability in private healthcare facilities with authorities under pressure to take action if negligence is confirmed, ensuring justice for the victim and his family.
