Hindu Youth of Babarpur Set to Protect with Shivastra Amid Saffron Wave

New Delhi(The Uttam Hindu): Unprecedented enthusiasm for wearing Shivastra was witnessed in various areas across Yamuna, particularly in Babarpur, Subhash Mohalla, Maujpur, Balbir Nagar, West Jyoti Nagar, and Jyoti Colony Extension. Young men and women in these areas have shown a keen eagerness to wear the traditional weapon, signaling a rise in community spirit.

In Subhash Vihar and Subhash Mohalla, a ceremony was held where youth took a pledge to protect themselves by wearing the Shivastra. Organized by the United Hindu Front, the event saw young participants wearing Shivastras while chanting sacred mantras. Women were also given saffron shawls along with the Shivastra as a mark of respect and unity.

Senior BJP leader and International Executive President of United Hindu Front, Jai Bhagwan Goyal, attended the event and remarked that the enthusiasm for wearing Shivastra in predominantly Muslim areas of Delhi was a clear sign of a saffron wave, particularly in Babarpur. Goyal stated, "This growing enthusiasm among Hindu youth reflects a cultural resurgence and a message of reverence for both scriptures and the weapon."

The event was attended by several prominent figures, including Vinod Patial (Organizer and Booth President 15), Moti Lal, Radha Rani, Ramvati, Jyoti Rana, Devki, Poonam, Deepak Bhardwaj, Azad Singh, and Harikishan Sharma, who played key roles in organizing the ceremony.
