Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): Mumbai police have arrested a 24-year-old woman, Fatima Khan, in connection with a death threat against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The message warned that he would be murdered "like Baba Siddique" if he did not resign within ten days. Investigators traced the threat back to Khan's phone number. Sources indicate that she is highly educated, holding a BSc in Information Technology, and has been facing mental health challenges.

The threat was received by the Mumbai Traffic Police control room via a WhatsApp message from an unidentified number. This incident is part of a troubling trend of death threats in Mumbai, which have primarily targeted actor Salman Khan in recent weeks. Previous threats included demands for ransom and were linked to a gang believed to be responsible for a recent murder. The murdered politician, Baba Siddique, was shot near his son's office, and the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed responsibility for that crime. Following the shooting, Salman Khan's security has been significantly enhanced due to concerns over his safety.
