New Delhi( The Uttam Hindu): Asteria Aerospace, the leading full-stack drone technology company, has successfully delivered its largest-ever contract of AT-15 Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) drones to the Indian Army. This significant achievement underlines the company's commitment to Atmanirbhar Bharat and its commitment to providing advanced solutions for defense and homeland security needs.

Neel Mehta, Director and Co-founder of Asteria Aerospace said, "The supply of our indigenously developed AT-15 drones to the Indian Ministry of Defence shows our commitment to the emerging needs of our defense forces. The man-portable drones have high-resolution cameras and precision artillery targeting and are capable of performing in high-altitude areas."

The AT-15 drones are designed with a unique blended wing that provides superior aerodynamics and high wind resistance. Thus, they can fly up to 6000 meters high. They can be used in confined areas because they can land vertically. The drones offer a flight time of 120 minutes and a range of 20 km, making them suitable for prolonged surveillance and reconnaissance missions. Additionally, the drones are equipped with an integrated EO-IR payload for critical aerial intelligence gathering in both day and night conditions. Constructed from composite materials, the drones are lightweight, durable, and fully man-portable.
