Two Gangsters from Sonu Khatri Gang Killed in Jalandhar Encounter Amid Heavy Firing
Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu): There is news of firing between police and criminals in Jalandhar. According to the information, the Commissionerate Police has encountered two henchmen of gangster Sonu Khatri gang. Both the criminals have been shot, out of which one is in critical condition.
This action was taken near Suchi Pind crematorium. Several FIRs have been registered against the two injured criminals who were hiding for a long time. Jalandhar CIA staff in-charge Surinder Singh Kamboj's team tracked both the gangsters and after informing their senior officials, killed them in an encounter. On seeing the police, the gangster opened fire after which more than 20 bullets were fired. The police have also recovered two weapons.
Jalandhar Police Commissioner Dhanpreet Kaur also reached the spot. Both the accused injured by the bullets have been sent to the hospital. It is being told that both the arrested accused had also killed a sub-inspector in Jammu. Police Commissioner Dhanpreet Kaur said - Both the accused had come to Rama Mandi area to commit some crime. Based on the information, both were arrested after an encounter. The names of the accused are Sukhwinder Singh and Harpreet Singh. According to sources associated with Jalandhar Police, the police have recovered two sophisticated weapons from the two injured gangsters.
