Shocking Crime: Brother-in-Law and Friends Gangrape, Kill and Burn Woman’s Body

Muzaffarnagar (The Uttam Hindu): A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. Here a 21-year-old girl was gang-raped by her brother-in-law along with his friends and then killed. After this, an attempt was made to destroy the evidence by burning the body. The police has disclosed this case and arrested the accused brother-in-law.

According to the police, on January 23, a resident of a village in Budhana police station area had lodged a complaint about his daughter's disappearance. The victim had told that his daughter was taken away by his son-in-law Ashish with his friends. When the police took the accused Ashish into custody and questioned him, he confessed his crime. During interrogation, the accused told the police that he was married four years ago. After marriage, he started talking to his wife's younger sister and the closeness grew between them. They developed a relationship. For the last two months, his sister-in-law was pressuring him for money and goods. She was blackmailing him.

The accused works in Aryavrit Hospital of Daurala. Fed up, he hatched a plan to murder along with his friends Shubham and Deepak, resident of village Madiyai, police station Sardhana, district Meerut. The accused took a personal loan from the bank and gave Rs 30,000 to his friends to commit the murder. According to the plan, the three accused took the girl along with them to the unpaved track of Nanu canal. Then all three together gang-raped the girl. After this, they strangled her to death and burnt the body. Police recovered the body of the girl as per the information given by the accused. Police have also recovered many important evidence from the spot. Police have arrested the accused and the search for his friends is on.
