Now, This Actor Nabbed in Connection with Mumbai Ponzi Fraud Involving Hundreds

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): Mumbai police have arrested Armen Garun Atayin, a 48-year-old actor, in connection with the Torres Ponzi scheme that defrauded hundreds of investors. Atayin, who has appeared in several Hindi films, was apprehended in the Versova area.

The Torres Ponzi scheme promised high returns on investments attracting numerous individuals. Authorities have identified Atayin as a key figure who facilitated the scheme by connecting investors with the masterminds behind the fraud. His arrest brings the total number of individuals apprehended in this case to six.

The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of Mumbai police is continuing its investigation into the scheme which has reportedly defrauded investors of over ₹57 crore. The authorities are working to identify and apprehend all individuals involved in the scam to ensure justice for the affected investors.
