Legal Battle: Ashley St. Clair Files Lawsuit Against Elon Musk

Update: 2025-02-23 03:29 GMT

U.S. (The Uttam Hindu): Conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair has filed a lawsuit against billionaire Elon Musk, seeking sole legal custody of their five-month-old son. The case, submitted to the New York Supreme Court on February 21, also requests a paternity test to officially establish Musk as the child's father. St. Clair claims Musk has only met the child three times and has shown little involvement in his upbringing.

According to court documents, St. Clair and Musk were in a relationship in 2023 with their child conceived during a trip to St. Barths in early 2024. She alleges Musk was absent at the birth and has since maintained minimal contact. In one of the messages included in the filing, Musk acknowledged the child but suggested it was "necessary" for the child not to carry his last name due to security concerns.

The lawsuit comes amid renewed scrutiny of Musk’s parenting responsibilities. Recently, singer Grimes, another of Musk's former partners, publicly sought his attention regarding a medical emergency involving their child. The case has sparked discussions about Musk’s role as a father and his approach to co-parenting.
