ED Summons Lalu, Questions Rabri and Tej Pratap in Land-for-Job Case

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Lalu Yadav has been summoned by ED in the land for job case. According to the information, he has been called for questioning. Along with Lalu, Rabri Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav have also been summoned by the investigation agency. ED has asked them to appear at Patna Zonal Office. Tej Pratap and Rabri Devi have been called today, while Lalu Yadav has been called tomorrow i.e. Wednesday.

Land for job case: ED called Rabri-Tej Pratap for questioning today, summoned Lalu too: Let us tell you that the Land for Job scam case is related to the appointments made to Group-D posts between 2004 and 2009. It is alleged that during Lalu Prasad Yadav's tenure as Railway Minister, candidates were made to transfer land in the name of their families and in return they were given jobs in the railways. On May 18, 2022, the CBI registered a case against Lalu Prasad Yadav, his wife, two daughters, unknown government officials and some private persons. So far, prosecution has been approved against 30 accused in this case.

It is alleged that from 2004 to 2009, several people were appointed to Group D posts in different zones of the Indian Railways and in return, these people transferred their lands to the family members of the then Railway Minister Lalu Yadav and his related company AK Infosystems Private Limited.
