ED Raids 14 Locations, Including Bhupesh Baghel's Son's House
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday morning raided the house of Chaitanya Baghel, son of former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. This action was carried out simultaneously at a total of 14 places across the state. This raid by the central investigating agency has been done under the investigation of cases related to alleged financial irregularities and money laundering.
ED teams raided Chaitanya Baghel's hideouts on Monday morning in a surprise raid. According to sources, the raid was not limited to Chaitanya Baghel's residence alone, but 14 different locations in the state were targeted. Sources associated with the investigating agency said that this search operation is related to the liquor scam of Rs 2161 crore in Chhattisgarh. Many high-ranking officials and a former minister have already been arrested in this case. As the investigation progresses, troubles are expected to increase for many more people.
