Sambhal (The Uttam Hindu): Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan, President of the Ittehad-e-Millat Council, has issued a sharp statement criticizing the working style of CO Anuj Chaudhary in Sambhal. Maulana Raza Khan hinted at organizing a sit-in after Eid, alongside Muslim MPs, to protest the actions of the CO and other officials, although the exact date of the protest was not disclosed.

In a fiery address, Maulana made controversial remarks about historical figures, including the Mughal ruler Aurangzeb and the Rajput warrior Rana Sanga. Referring to Rana Sanga, Maulana Khan called him a "traitor" to the country, a statement sure to spark debate. He also made a provocative comment about Veer Savarkar, accusing him of betraying the country by taking a stipend from the British.

Further criticizing the government, Maulana Raza Khan accused it of showing bias against the Muslim community. He claimed that Chief Ministers across India were competing to commit atrocities against Muslims, including beatings, arrests, and torture. He also announced that Muslims would not wear new clothes for Eid as a sign of protest against the government's treatment.

Maulana Khan’s remarks also included a revisionist take on history. He referred to the historical conflict between Babur and Rana Sanga, stating that Sanga's actions were not in the country’s interest and that Babur’s initial attack on Punjab and Delhi caused the conflict.

He also addressed the Waqf Amendment Bill, accusing the Muslim Personal Board of only mobilizing crowds in the name of protest without delivering concrete results. He further criticized the government for rallying 65 crore people under the banner of religion.

On the topic of the Union Committee of Collectors (UCC), Maulana expressed concern that terrorists might infiltrate India disguised as Pakistani Hindus. He also raised eyebrows about government spending on sending Prime Minister’s pictures to Muslim households, suggesting the funds should be used to send gifts to Hindus during festivals like Navratri.

Regarding a comment by Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi about actor Salman Khan wearing a watch with the image of the Shri Ram Temple, Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan stated that issues of Shariat should not be mixed with the actions of actors or directors.

In a final clarification, Maulana Raza Khan explained that Maulanas labeled as Barelvi are actually from Bahraich, emphasizing that their connection with Markaz is the same as that of other believers, and that some Maulanas were defaming their fellow Barelvi leaders.

These remarks come as Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan continues to make his voice heard on issues surrounding the Muslim community and the current political climate in India.
