US Delivers Game-Changer: Trump Seals F-35 Fighter Jet Deal with India

Washington (The Uttam Hindu): US President Donald Trump, during a joint press conference with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, announced that the United States will sell advanced F-35 fighter jets to India. This move will position India among the exclusive group of countries with state-of-the-art stealth aircraft. President Trump further highlighted that military sales to India will be increased by several billion dollars this year, paving the way for the eventual delivery of F-35 stealth fighter jets to India.

In his remarks, Prime Minister Modi expressed his appreciation for President Trump’s commitment to prioritizing the interests of the United States. Modi also emphasized that, like President Trump, it is an honor for him to work while ensuring India's interests are placed at the forefront. “I am delighted to be back at the White House, and on behalf of India’s 1.4 billion people, I congratulate you, President Trump,” Modi said. “The people of India have given me the opportunity to serve as Prime Minister for a third term. In this tenure, I am once again honored to have the opportunity to work alongside President Trump for the next four years, which brings me great joy,” he added.
