Tunis (The Uttam Hindu) : Officials from Tunisia and Kazakhstan recently engaged in political consultations in the Tunisian capital to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation, according to a statement from the Tunisian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Tunisian Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Ben Ayed, highlighted the recent developments in Tunisia, noting that the country is entering a new phase characterized by the consolidation of its social and economic achievements.

Ben Ayed praised the cooperation established between Tunisia and Kazakhstan since the inception of their diplomatic relations. He expressed a strong commitment to expanding collaboration across various sectors of mutual interest, emphasizing the potential for growth in their partnership.

Kazakhstan's Deputy Foreign Minister, Alibek Bakayev, also acknowledged the historical and cultural ties that bind the two nations. He reaffirmed Kazakhstan's dedication to enhancing bilateral cooperation with Tunisia. Additionally, both sides agreed to continue their coordination and consultations at the multilateral level, especially within frameworks like the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
