Trump’s bold statement: U.S. to take control of Gaza strip following Netanyahu meeting

Washington (Uttam Hindu News): US President Donald Trump made a shocking statement on Wednesday, in which he said that America will occupy the war-torn Palestinian territory Gaza Strip. America will remain there until the Palestinians are rehabilitated elsewhere. Along with this, Trump also said that America will develop Gaza and take it under its control. Trump made this statement in a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

America will occupy Gaza Strip; Donald Trump said after meeting Netanyahu: Netanyahu described Trump's idea as history-changing and said that the US President is imagining a different future for Gaza. This announcement can stir up the world and affect the geopolitical situations in the Middle East. The Gaza Strip has been completely devastated due to the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas since October 2023. There has been a ceasefire recently, but Israeli bombing has destroyed almost all the infrastructure in the area, leaving millions of people homeless.

Trump said, "We will take it under our control and take responsibility for destroying the dangerous explosive bombs and other weapons lying here." He further said, "We will level the destroyed buildings and prepare an economic development plan which will provide unlimited jobs and housing for the people of the region."
