Tesla Cybertruck explodes outside Trump’s Las Vegas Hotel, causing 1 death and 7 injured
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A tragic incident unfolded outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas when a Tesla Cybertruck exploded, resulting in one death and seven injuries. The vehicle had parked at the hotel's glass entrance before a "large explosion," as reported by Las Vegas Sheriff Kevin McMahill. Footage captured the stainless steel truck parked outside the hotel which then erupted in flames, followed by several smaller explosions resembling fireworks.
McMahill confirmed that there was "one deceased individual inside the Cybertruck" and that seven others suffered minor injuries. Tesla CEO Elon Musk explained that the explosion was caused by "very large fireworks and/or a bomb" placed in the bed of the rented Cybertruck. He clarified in a post on X that the explosion was "unrelated to the vehicle itself." Musk also mentioned that "the whole Tesla senior team" was investigating the incident, expressing that it was something they had never encountered before.
The evil knuckleheads picked the wrong vehicle for a terrorist attack. Cybertruck actually contained the explosion and directed the blast upwards.

While police are working to determine the cause of the explosion, Musk pledged to share more information "as soon as we learn anything." President Joe Biden was briefed on the explosion and instructed his team to provide any necessary federal assistance as stated by the White House. McMahill also referenced a separate car-ramming attack in New Orleans earlier on the same day which claimed at least 10 lives but did not directly link the two incidents. He assured that authorities in Las Vegas were taking all necessary precautions to ensure public safety. The hotel was evacuated following the explosion.
