Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu) : The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has once again raised objections to Team India's upcoming matches in Dubai, sparking a fresh controversy in the cricketing world. However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has swiftly responded to the PCB's concerns, with Vice-President Rajeev Shukla asserting that the Indian team will continue to play its scheduled matches in Dubai.

The PCB's objections stem from the fact that Dubai is a neutral venue that has hosted several Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches in the past. The PCB claims that the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) had assured them that no international matches would be held in Dubai until the PSL was completed. However, the BCCI has dismissed the PCB's concerns, stating that the Indian team's matches in Dubai are part of the International Cricket Council's (ICC) approved schedule. Shukla emphasized that the BCCI had obtained all necessary approvals from the ICC and the ECB before scheduling the matches in Dubai.

"WE WON'T BE BULLIED" - RAJEEV SHUKLA

Shukla hit back at the PCB's objections, saying that the Indian team would not be bullied or intimidated by such tactics. "We have obtained all necessary approvals for our matches in Dubai, and we will not be swayed by the PCB's objections," Shukla said. "The PCB's concerns are unfounded and without merit. We will continue to play our scheduled matches in Dubai, and we will not be intimidated by the PCB's tactics," Shukla added.

PCB'S HISTORY OF CONTROVERSY

The PCB has a history of raising controversies and objections to India's cricketing schedules. In the past, the PCB has objected to India's participation in international tournaments, citing security concerns and other issues. However, the BCCI has consistently maintained that it will not be swayed by the PCB's tactics, and will continue to participate in international cricketing events as scheduled.
