NATO’s Bold Move: Defense Ministers from 30 Countries to Discuss Action Plan Against Russia

Brussels (The Uttam Hindu): NATO has signaled that it is preparing a major strategy against Russia. Following this, NATO has called for a large meeting of defense ministers from 30 countries at its headquarters. The meeting is being led by the UK and France, which convened the gathering of nearly 30 defense ministers on Thursday. NATO has now prepared a major action plan against Russia, which has been continuously gaining the upper hand in the ongoing war with Ukraine for the past three years.
According to information, NATO says the purpose of the meeting is to discuss plans for deploying forces in Ukraine to monitor any future peace agreement with Russia. This meeting, to be held at NATO's headquarters, will be the first meeting of defense ministers from the countries in the so-called alliance. Last week, senior British and French military officials visited Kyiv, after which this meeting was called. It is expected that the leaders will work on turning the agreements made during a previous meeting into reality. The United States will not participate in this meeting. On Friday, representatives from almost 50 countries will gather at NATO headquarters to discuss military support for Ukraine. This meeting will be chaired by the UK and Germany. U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is not expected to attend. Ukrainian government officials and military analysts have stated that Russian forces are preparing to launch a new military offensive in Ukraine in the coming weeks to increase pressure on Kyiv and strengthen the Kremlin's position in ceasefire talks.
