Mukesh and Nita Ambani Meet Trump, Join World’s Top 100 at Exclusive Event

Washington (The Uttam Hindu): Mukesh and Nita Ambani met Donald Trump in Washington D.C. a day before his inauguration ceremony. They were invited to a reception dinner organized by CEO Mark Zuckerberg where the Ambani couple was among the selected Indian entrepreneurs invited for the "candlelight dinner" prior to Trump's swearing-in. During the event, Nita Ambani clicked photos with industry leaders and Trump himself.

According to media reports, the Ambanis are expected to take a prominent spot on stage with Trump's nominated cabinet members and other distinguished guests. In the photos clicked during the dinner, Mukesh Ambani was seen wearing a black suit, while Nita Ambani donned a black saree with an overcoat and emerald jewelry. Real estate entrepreneur Kalpesh Mehta shared pictures with the couple on Instagram captioning, "Fun night with Nita and Mukesh Ambani at President Trump's inauguration ceremony."

Besides the Ambanis, Amazon owner Jeff Bezos was also present at the dinner. Despite the extreme cold in the national capital, Donald Trump took the oath as the 47th President of the United States in an indoor ceremony, the first time since 1985 that the inauguration was held indoors. Other notable attendees at the event included Tim Cook, Sundar Pichai, Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Sam Altman, Barack Obama, Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton, and Joe Biden, who was bid farewell by Donald Trump during his inaugural speech.
