"Bloodshed in Gaza: 32 Dead as Israel Strikes, Hamas Retaliates with Rockets"

Gaza Strip has once again come under the grip of violence. In the latest aerial and ground attacks by Israel, at least 32 people have lost their lives. Among the dead, more than a dozen are women and children. These attacks occurred at a time when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is on a visit to the United States and is set to meet President Donald Trump.

Netanyahu stated that he will discuss the new 17% tariff imposed on Israel and the ongoing war in Gaza during his meeting with Trump. Meanwhile, the Israeli Defense Minister announced that Israel will now occupy some major areas of Gaza and convert them into "security zones." Israel had recently broken the ceasefire with Hamas and started deploying soldiers under a new security corridor in Gaza. In retaliation, Hamas fired rockets at southern Israeli cities. However, most of the rockets were intercepted and destroyed by Israel's defense system.

According to Israeli TV channel 12, at least 12 people were lightly injured in a rocket attack in the city of Ashkelon. Hamas claimed responsibility for the attacks, stating they were in response to the "Israeli massacres" occurring in Gaza. In Israeli airstrikes on Sunday night, a house and a tent were targeted in the Khan Yunis area of southern Gaza, killing five men, five women, and five children.
