In the viral video, the couple is seen seated in the temple following their wedding ceremony. Initially, the two exchange garlands joyously. However, the situation escalates quickly when the police inspector suddenly slaps his bride. A woman who was present at the scene intervened and attempted to calm the situation.

The bride later filed a case against her husband, leading to the suspension of the accused police officer. In response to the incident, the police department issued a statement asserting that officers who engage in violent behavior will face strict action.
