Teacher’s Nephew and Friend Brutally Murder Cousins, Attack Parents in Hathras

Hathras (The Uttam Hindu): A horrifying incident has come to light in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh where a teacher's nephew along with his friend, brutally murdered his cousin sisters by slashing their throats. They also attacked the teacher and his wife with sharp weapons, leaving them severely injured. The injured couple has been referred to a higher medical center after receiving initial treatment. Police are investigating the matter.

According to reports, the incident took place late Wednesday night or early Thursday in the Ashirwad Dham Colony of Hathras Sadar Kotwali. The minor cousins were sleeping inside their house when the accused along with his friend slashed their throats. Hearing the girls' screams, the parents rushed to the room but they were also attacked by the assailants who left them badly injured. The accused, identified as Vikas had frequently visited the teacher's home. The teacher, Chhotelal Gautam who was unwell for the past year, lived with his wife Veerangana (Gauri) and their two daughters, Srishti (14) and Vidhi (6). Vikas had come to visit around 9:00 PM with his friend and after having dinner, everyone went to sleep. Around 2:00 AM, Vikas and his friend executed the horrific crime.

Upon hearing the screams of their daughters, the teacher and his wife woke up and tried to stop the attackers but were struck with sharp weapons, leaving them in a pool of blood. Neighbors, hearing the commotion, gathered outside and the police were notified. The injured couple was immediately rushed to the hospital, where treatment is ongoing. The bodies of the two murdered girls have been sent for post-mortem. Authorities are investigating the motive behind the murders as Vikas had frequently visited the house and was considered harmless. The reasons behind the gruesome crime are still unclear. The police have begun a thorough investigation into the incident. The SP confirmed that the accused, Vikas and his friend attacked the teacher’s daughters and later fled. The police are actively investigating and have filed a case against the culprits.
