Jabalpur (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking incident has come to light at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College and Hospital in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. In an alarming turn of events, doctors declared a living patient dead on paper, despite the patient being admitted to the surgery ICU and fighting for his life.

The family of the deceased patient has raised serious questions regarding the hospital administration’s negligence. They claim that the doctors declared the patient dead without conducting proper checks, which has deeply traumatized the family. The family even recorded a video of the incident in which the patient is seen alive. The patient's son explained that a female doctor on duty handed them the death certificate, prompting him to rush to his father's side where he discovered that his father was still breathing.

The family alleges that after realizing their mistake, the doctors stopped the treatment of the patient. In response to the incident, Ayushman Shukla, the patient’s son has voiced his concerns about the hospital administration's negligence and demanded action against those responsible. He stated that this error could have endangered his father’s life. In its defense, the hospital administration clarified that all protocols were followed before declaring the patient dead. However, they admitted that the doctor on duty was not adequately trained which led to this mistake. The administration has ordered an investigation into the matter and promised action against the individuals involved.
