A Dubai cafe is turning heads with its extravagant 'Gold Karak' tea, priced at a staggering Rs 1 lakh, leaving netizens wondering if there's an EMI option. Boho Cafe, located at the Emirates Financial Towers in DIFC, is owned by Indian-origin restaurateur Sucheta Sharma. The cafe’s signature tea is served with a 24-carat gold leaf, elevating the humble chai to a luxurious experience.

While tea is an essential part of daily life and social gatherings in India, the cost of a cup can vary greatly. For context, a cup of tea at Mumbai’s Taj Palace Hotel costs around Rs 650-750, but this Dubai cafe offers a much more opulent option. The cafe’s viral sensation, 'Gold Karak', is served in pure silver cutlery, topped with gold dust and a gold leaf, alongside a gold-dusted croissant. Customers can even take home the silverware as a souvenir.

"Indulge in the world’s most lavish karak tea, presented in pure silver and garnished with 24-karat gold. Each sip is paired with a gold-dusted croissant—and the silver cutlery is yours to keep!" the cafe’s caption reads.
